Black Swift has developed a simple, cost-effective line of systems for sUAS. These can either be operated as a stand-alone system, or serve as the basis for design for complex solutions. The purchase of a SwiftPilot system comes with the required information for obtaining a Certificate of Authorization (COA) from the FAA for operations of aircraft employing the SwiftPilot system within the national airspace.

SwiftPilot

High-performance autopilot designed specifically for unmanned aircraft system (UAS), both fixed-wing and VTOL (vertical take-off and landing), with expandable payload requirements. It is targeted at high-end research and industry requirements.

  • One of the smallest and most powerful autopilot commercially available
  • Two dedicated 168 Mhz Cortex-M4 CPU with FPU for autonomous sUAS functionality (core processors) and one (optional) 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor (payload processor) for customer use
  • Modularized CAN-bus hardware architecture, enabling virtually an unlimited number of connectivity options for peripherals/payloads (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, USB, GPIO, etc.

Tablet UI

The BlackSwift user interface is easy to use and designed to be highly intuitive. Most new users are able to familiarize themselves with the controls within 5 to 10 minutes.

Ground Station

The intuitive ground station setup and operator interface provides an experience unlike any other UAS, requiring very little expertise to get up and running, while still providing users with all the tools they need.
